Halloween 2008

We had a fun Halloween night in the neighborhood.  Margaret ran everywhere she went to see how far she could make her cape fly out.  Wilson had a great time riding along and watching the big kids.  He was happy as long as no one tried to make him wear the hood part of his costume.  My favorite part was coming to a spooky house with music, smoke, crazy lights, etc.  None of the boys would go ring the bell.  We said, go for it Margaret and she said "Here Mom, hold my sucker," before she headed up the driveway.  Supergirl indeed!  I love that she's so brave.

Halloween Dance Show

Margaret's dance class had a "costume parade" today that was really a little recital.  They were adorable and Margaret did a great job, she was the first one on the floor.  The only one not decked out as a princess, and the most spunk by far!  Her favorite part was yelling "TRICK OR TREAT!"  She's been practicing that in the car on the way home for the last few weeks, (it was not Wilson's favorite part.)

Goose Egg

Margaret fell out of the car this morning and fell right on her head.  True to her tough nature, she pretty much brushed it off and was thrilled to wear a BIG band aid.

Margaret fell out of the car and onto the driveway, landing on her head!  She shed a few tears, but true to her tough nature she pretty much brushed it off.  She was excited to wear an extra big band aid.

Fall Leaves

Some friends came by to play in all the fall leaves in the back.  They had a great time, and raked almost the entire common area!

Looks like Wilson was snacking on some dirt...

Gentry's Farm

We had a great time again at Gentry's Farm.  It's hard to believe that Wilson was so small he slept through the whole experience last time.  Margaret had a great time looking at all the animals and playing games.  We all went on the hayride and Wilson actually got to get out of the stroller and play for a change!

Rascal Flatts

Our friends Jake and Cara Brock invited us to sit in box seats at the Rascal Flatts show and everyone had a great time.  The kids had their own dance floor and snack bar, general admission will never seem the same again.  Margaret was asleep before we left the parking garage, but Jake would have stayed out all night!

Germantown Street Festival

We went to the Germantown Street Festival this morning.  Lots of food, crafts, and things to do.  Also lots of people drinking beer at 9AM.  That could make for a long day!  Margaret went the face painting tent and asked for a tomato, I guess she was still thinking about the Tomato Art Festival.  She picked a pumpkin instead...

The Children's Theater put performed part of "Suesiclal the Musical."  Margaret and Wilson were enthralled.

Wilson sat in the stroller because he always sits in the stroller.  It will probably be in the background of at least half of all the pictures we have of him.  He's still a good sport!

Spooky Gingerbread House

Margaret had a great time working on a gingerbread house.  She carefully sampled all the candy before she put it on the house and she sampled quite a bit of frosting.  Now no one else wants to eat any of the gingerbread house.  Maybe that was her plan all along.
